The Lazy Loopers Flying Field is a FRIA Site!

We are happy to report that the FAA has approved our field as a FRIA site! This is good news for us as we will now be EXEMPT from having to buy, register and install RID equipment in our aircraft while flying at the LLFC field. You still need to have an FAA number on your aircraft. See the picture of the approval and of the boundary that was applied for and approved. Just a reminder that if you fly in locations other than the LLFC field, after May 16, 2024, you will still be required to have RID equipment on board your aircraft in those locations, unless they are also covered by a FRIA or your craft weighs less than 0.55lb/250 grams.
